Cassi is an independent filmmaker whose passion is to entertain, inform and inspire her audience with a pragmatic and unique flair. Over the past decade she has written, produced and directed a number of entertaining short films and documentaries, and has won 2 International Film Festivals Awards: International Film Festival Ireland (2009) / Swansea Bay Film Festival - Wales, UK (2010).
Cassi received a B.A. in Mass Communications / Video Production from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She continued her education at the University of Southern California (USC), where she received the Guy Hanks Alexander screenwriting scholarship sponsored by Actor & Comedian, Bill Cosby. In addition, Cassi has taken screenwriting classes at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Film Independent, a national filmmaking organization.
Shooting independent films is unpredictable and fast-paced; an environment that Cassi finds extremely exhilarating.
